#OOTD: Dark and Sleek

A la Matrix!

This outfit reminds me so much of New York City. In case you didn't know, I am originally from New York and this would totally be something I'd wear during a casual night out. I wouldn't normally associate this outfit with Texas' warm weather but I am also new here and I'm learning very quickly that the weather can be just as moody as NYC. That does please me a little because I really did think that I'd have to give cup all my winter coats and I was not ready for that!

My favorite part of the outfit is the structure of the faux leather pants. I love that they are straight leg and keep their shape down thru to the bottom. The two tone sweater gives the look some dimension and I love that it's a mock neck and not a full on turtleneck which can be bulky. To finish off the look, I found this mini bag appropriately named "city bag" and these strappy, black sandals with a heel height perfect for walking around the city all night.
